Personal Training

The BEST Method: Forget everything you learned about exercise. You don’t need special equipment to meet your goals. We utilize our collective years of experience to bring you the most recent and cutting-edge research. We bring your awareness to your body’s NATURAL strength and intuitive movement patterns, so that all you need to show up with is yourself. Machine exercise can strengthen one part of your body while throwing other parts out of balance; our training increases strength, balance, and flexibility while keeping you in balance and feeling cared for every step of the way.

Workout Smarter, Not Harder

In our modern society we lead mostly inactive lives. From the time we’re in kindergarten, we’re made to sit for hours everyday. Because of this, a lot of our muscles learn to stay inactive, and this causes imbalance and pain over time. With the B.E.S.T method of exercise, you will learn how to activate ALL your muscles and train them to work together as one, as opposed to training one group of muscles at a time. This allows you to gain strength, flexibility, and balance much faster (and safer) than other methods.

Rehabilitation

The BEST Method approach to rehabilitation addresses muscle weaknesses and imbalances throughout the entire body that are contributing to injury and/or pain. This approach of strengthening your entire body (versus just the affected pain points) results in permanent improvements and significantly reduces the risk of future injury.

Balance and Fall Prevention Training

By removing shoes and training barefoot we are able to activate and strengthen all the muscles of the foot and ankle. These muscles are critical if we want to improve balance. Because of this approach, our clients experience dramatic improvements in balance.

Float Therapy

Floating, or float therapy, is the act of floating in salt water for physical, emotional, and mental benefits. you step into a private spa “tub” of warm water to float and relax. This “tub”, or pod as we call it, is filled with 1000+ pounds of epsom salt. The buoyancy is higher than the Dead Sea, so you’re fully supported and float effortlessly. This effect is similar to the anti-gravity effect astronauts experience in space. Feel free to twist, bend, stretch, or stay still and release tension in areas that are normally compressed. The water is heated to skin temperature and feels warm at first, but eventually feels as if there is no separation between body and water. Floating has numerous mental and physical health benefits and works especially well in combination with our other health and wellness services.

Athletic Training Services

Work with an Athletic Trainer for prevention, diagnosis and intervention of conditions involving impairment, functional limitations and disabilities.

Physical Therapy & Post Physical Therapy Programs *NEW*

Post-or-pre-surgery. Our in-house physical therapist will design and implement a custom plan just for you. Whether preventative or rehabilitative, we will work with you every step of the way to ensure you are healing safely. We make sure that once you leave, you have the tools you need to continue healing yourself on a daily basis. We are not like traditional insurance-based models: we work with you one-on-one and we believe in speedy (but safe) recovery. Our physical therapist works directly with our athletic & personal trainers to make sure you get well-rounded care. As opposed to our regular personal training & rehab program–which works to activate the entire body–this program is injury-specific and for those clients that need a little extra care!

Health Coaching

Clients who are looking to make food and lifestyle changes to live their best life–and want a supportive mentor to help them along the way–can greatly benefit from a Health Coach. Receive the accountability, information, advice, and support you’ve always wished you had to reach and exceed all your health, fitness, and weight loss goals. Our Integrative Nutrition Health Coaches provide personalized programs that are 100% focused on you and your individual needs. No cookie-cutter, one-size-fits-all programs here. Health Coaching sessions are 50 minute coaching sessions held in person, via FaceTime/Skype, or by phone.

Stroke/TBI Program

BEST Day Fitness specializes in post-rehabilitation for clients who have experienced a stroke or traumatic brain injury (TBI). We offer programs to fit your needs from weekly sessions to concentrated movement intensive programs and everything in between.

Improve function, mobility and strength in a positive and encouraging atmosphere.

Our concentrated movement therapy programs combine strength training, yoga training, ADL training, dexterity and food training, any number of activities that appeal to the clients hobbies and interests and more. In this program clients work with us for 4 to 6 hours each day for a week or longer. Research shows that a much greater increase in function occurs with these intensive programs when compared to sporadic rehabilitation sessions. Contact us to learn

We collaborate with our own team of specialists, and with medical doctors, physical therapists, chiropractors, and massage therapists outside of our own studio.
