In our modern society we lead mostly inactive lives. From the time we’re in kindergarten, we’re made to sit for hours everyday. Because of this, a lot of our muscles learn to stay inactive, and this causes imbalance and pain over time. With the B.E.S.T method of exercise, you will learn how to activate ALL your muscles and train them to work together as one, as opposed to training one group of muscles at a time. This allows you to gain strength, flexibility, and balance much faster (and safer) than other methods.
The BEST Method approach to rehabilitation addresses muscle weaknesses and imbalances throughout the entire body that are contributing to injury and/or pain. This approach of strengthening your entire body (versus just the affected pain points) results in permanent improvements and significantly reduces the risk of future injury.
Floating, or float therapy, is the act of floating in salt water for physical, emotional, and mental benefits. you step into a private spa “tub” of warm water to float and relax. This “tub”, or pod as we call it, is filled with 1000+ pounds of epsom salt. The buoyancy is higher than the Dead Sea, so you’re fully supported and float effortlessly. This effect is similar to the anti-gravity effect astronauts experience in space. Feel free to twist, bend, stretch, or stay still and release tension in areas that are normally compressed. The water is heated to skin temperature and feels warm at first, but eventually feels as if there is no separation between body and water. Floating has numerous mental and physical health benefits and works especially well in combination with our other health and wellness services.

Our concentrated movement therapy programs combine strength training, yoga training, ADL training, dexterity and food training, any number of activities that appeal to the clients hobbies and interests and more. In this program clients work with us for 4 to 6 hours each day for a week or longer.
