The life you want to keep living is the reason we're here.
Think about the things that make a week feel like yours. Getting down to the floor with the grandkids and back up again. Carrying the shopping in one trip. A round of golf, a long walk on the water, a trip you've been putting off. Taking the stairs without thinking about it.

Most people don't come to us because they want to "get fit". They come because something has started to feel harder than it used to — or because an injury or surgery has interrupted a life they'd like back. Some come because a son or daughter is worried and started looking on their behalf.
Whatever brought you here, you're not starting from zero, and you're not too late. Your body is adaptable at any age. Our job is to understand it first, and then help you build the strength, balance, mobility and posture to keep doing what matters to you.
Move Better. Feel Stronger. Live Longer.
A studio built around one question: what does this person actually need?
Best Day opened in St. Petersburg in 2010. It was built for people who wanted more than a gym membership and less than a clinic — somewhere they'd be known by name, coached by a person, and looked after as a whole person rather than one sore knee at a time.
Chris founded Best Day in St. Petersburg in 2010 to help people stay strong, capable, and confident in everyday life. His approach brings personalized training, recovery, and wellness support together under one roof—with a team that gets to know you and builds a plan around your needs.
It's a barefoot studio. Better movement starts from the ground up. We train barefoot so you can feel the floor and your coach can see how your feet, ankles, and knees move together. We combine that awareness with exercises for foot strength, ankle mobility, and balance. The goal: feet that work well, more control with each step, and greater confidence in everyday movement.
Can’t comfortably train barefoot? Tell us when you book. We’ll discuss your needs and consider grip socks, suitable shoes, or prescribed orthotics individually.
It's one method, one plan. Chris built the Best Day Method — Energy = Mobility + Posture + Strength — and the whole team coaches from it, under one roof, so you're never repeating your story or juggling advice that doesn't agree.
Our mission
Our mission is to help adults 50 and over—and anyone returning to exercise after injury—move better, build strength, and feel more confident in everyday life through personalized training, recovery, and wellness support.
Human-centered
You are a person with a history, a life and things you want to keep doing — not a problem to be solved. We start with listening, and we build around you.
Collaborative
The people helping you talk to each other. Your trainer, physical therapist, massage therapist and coach share one plan, so the advice you get fits together.
Intentional
Not intense — intentional. Every session has a reason, and you'll know what it is. Smart, supervised training, scaled to the body you have today.
Progressive
Steady progress, at your pace. As you get stronger and more confident, the work grows with you — never faster than your body is ready for.
Chris, and the team.
Best Day brings personal training, recovery, and wellness support together under one roof — with a team that gets to know you and builds a plan around your needs.

Calm, clean, and a little different

The first thing most people notice is how quiet it is. There's no crowd, no one watching you from the next machine. Sessions are private one-on-one, and every one is led by a trainer.
Shoes come off at the door — it's a barefoot studio. It's clean, it's bright, and it's by appointment only, so it's never crowded.
Our logo is a sunrise over the water. It's a small reminder of what the name means: every day is a chance for a good one, and St. Pete gives us plenty of mornings to start with.
Start with a conversation.
You don't have to know what you need yet. That's what the consultation is for — we listen, we show you how we work, and we talk through a clear, personalized path forward. No pressure, and no decision needed on the day.
